Okay, so technically my family’s version of “back to school” looks a little different. (Shoutout to my fellow homeschool moms—you know the chaos never really left.)

But for most of you, the backpacks are packed, the lunches are labeled, and the house? Momentarily quiet.

And now you’re sitting there thinking… Now what?

If you’ve spent the last few months squeezing in emails between popsicles and praying no one joins your Zoom call half-dressed (we’ve all been there), this shift in rhythm can feel both magical and awkward.

Here’s the thing nobody says out loud:

1. Before You Leap, Pause (Yes, Even You, Highlighter Addict)

• What do I actually want this next season to feel like?

• What worked this summer? What absolutely didn’t?

• Where do I need help (and who am I too stubborn to ask)?

 This is your official permission slip to pause before you pounce!

2. Set Goals That Match Your Real Life

The car line is calling, friend. This isn’t the season for a 17-step business plan.

Instead, try this:

• Is my pricing still serving me?

• Are my offers realistic for my current capacity?

• What’s ONE thing that will move the needle in the next 90 days?

That’s it. Direction first. And as much as I hate to say it, fancy planners second.

3. Simplify Like Your Sanity Depends on It (Because It Does)

Here's what: The chaos isn’t going anywhere.

But your systems? They absolutely can be the calm in the storm!

• Batch what you can.

• Automate what you can’t.

• And for the love of snacks, download those WMSA templates.

Let’s work smarter, not harder (because harder is overrated).
